Server specification is very important! It is also important to know which data center the server is hosted at, and last how good the hosting company’s support is. I get 24/7 support from my hosting company (Trance Host) and they have super fast servers.

  1. As an experienced webmaster I recommend BH web hosting which I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.

You can reach reviews about this web hosting provider and its latest DISCOUNT COUPONS at:

  2. You are almost correct with the factors above, but you left off one very important one. That is up time. Never choose a hosting provider that has a rating less than 99.9%.

I also agree with David on his comment about BH (Blueskies Hosting) web services. They are great and for the price you cannot beat them. I have used them for many years and I have never had any problems.

    Best of luck!

  4. Many webhosting mislead you with and said “we offer unlimited and unlimited space” with only three to 10 dollar but the truth is No webhost can really offer true unlimited bandwidth and spaces because the bandwidth and space cost money and the website will sped an unlimited amount of moeny to buy and unlimited number of hard disks.

most times when you 5 to 8G your website suddenly stopped and dorpped down

so I decided to use cheap webhosting with good and cheap plans (certain size and bandwith)

  5. Yes, you are right, to choose the best webhosting service, you have to first determine what you are going to use it for.

Is it for Personal usage? Business usage?
Look at it on the long term. Is there a potential need to expand or require better connection(VPS)?

Once you identify the above, you will be able to choose which is the right one for you.

For personal usage, be it for blogging purpose etc, you can consider Bluehost. As Bluehost only offer shared hosting plan, it is unlikely you might be going into VPS as well.

But if you are using for business or community websites, for example a forum or offering portal engaging tons of people, you might consider webhost with multiple plan that you can easily upgrade to without having to migrate to other webhost.

Most webhost use CPanel and does support FTP access. Not much to worry about.

Amount of webspace is not much of an issue unless you are doing a file hosting site storing hundreds of gigs of files, at which you will definitely use a VPS later.

Pricing plans depends on your budget and average is less than 10dollars per month. There’s no need to purchase 1 with over 10 dollars per month for a start. Upgrade as it goes when you need to.

The important factor you should take note rather is the percentage of uptime. It will do you no good even if they give you millions of gigs of traffic data transfer quota but your site is down. And of course, customer support. You definitely wouldn’t want to contact webhost but to find you just cant reach them when you need it.

From my personal experience, i recommend you

-For personal usage, Bluehost(For personal usage if you have no intention to use VPS or higher resource)
-For business or flexibility, you should go with HostGator, they offer from starter plan to VPS which you can upgrade to in future if you need it(Im currently using them and not a single problem. And their customer service is helpful and fast. You also get a $ 100 Google Adwords Credit to spend on)

Here’s a coupon code you can use if you chose HostGator, that requires you to pay only 1 cent for the first month for hatchling or baby plan.
    Coupon code: hotdeal2010

The above 2 is the ones i have used and truly recommends their service.
    Hope it helps.
